This initiative began with our VISION:
To create a community that supports, cooperates and creates opportunities together so that all members of a community are uplifted into sustainability.
This is why access to the Micro, Independent, Small and Medium Enterprises Assistance Centre (SME Assist) is open only to members and associate members of the Malaysian eCare Communities Association (MeCCA).
However, there are certain programs that can be provided to members of the public through invitation and/or sponsorship by members and associate members as well.
Below are some of the key initiatives of the Centre; to find out more, you can contact us here.
We provide members-only coaching, mentoring, training and consultation services. Upon becoming members, you will be given access to a library of training programs that you can self-study.
Once you have gone through the library, or if you don't find what you need, all you have to do is contact us, and we'll put you in touch with a business coach or a mentor in your field. Should you require assistance from a consultant, we'll help you with that too. On the learning page, you can also make bookings for potential trainings for your organisation.
Either way, we will help you gain clarity in your business strategy with an action plan to get you straight to revenue and cash generation mode in the shortest time.
As a welfare-based not-for-profit organisation, MeCCA needs to carry out numerous fundraising activities towards its vision - to create a caring economy where members of a community uplift each other to a level of sustainability.
With this in mind, we have numerous programs in place, of which the most popular is our job/business matching service. Members can go through our offerings and purchase the services or products offered, and Independent Associate Members can pitch for the assignment and serve the purchaser until the assignment is complete. Why we work better than most out there is because purchasers are paying for quality hours of work, not sampling skills of unknown agents. In other words, we carefully assign the right assignment to the right person so that quality of delivery is maintained. This is how it works:
Upon registration as a member, members must contact us to with the need they are looking to have filled.
A team member from the SME Assistance Centre will contact the member to discuss his/her needs and negotiate the hours required.
Once the hours are agreed, the job is assigned to the right candidate, and upon delivery of the completed task, the person is paid. You can learn more here.
Our next most popular program is the Business Directory promotions. Upon registration into the Directory for the member, we start carrying out promotional activities for the business through interviews, posters and brief videos that are then shared on online magazines and social media.
Another program is the MeCCA Entrepreneur Program, where members can apply for seed funding for any of their projects up to RM 1, 000/- per project, subject to terms and conditions of the Program.
Please contact us for more information on any of these programs.
